Yes, sorry -- I was only talking about Info.

I don't know it it's a bug or a feature, but in Info output @* not
only forces a newline but also swallows all the following blank lines.
So if you write:

| Foo address@hidden
|
|
| Baz qux.
`----
you get:
,----
| Foo bar.
| Baz qux.
`----
