Hello Juan,
Thanks for reporting the problem.
The compilation step fails due to the inconditional use of LC_MESSAGES.
I put in #ifdef LC_MESSAGES since that's what is used in makeinfo, and
no one has complained about it.
I have not searched for more occurences.
I found one other occurrence in info/man.c and #ifdef'd that too.
I also made the code in info.c and man.c the same, since they were
apparently trying to deal with the same situation (multibyte locales,
which info isn't prepared to deal with).
Can you get the new files from CVS and see if it works for you now on
djgpp? I'd like to make another pretest and then a release soon.
