[VCDImager Bugs/Devel] vcd on phillips

please help me,

i have a philips dvd 955 and i can make and play vcd's perfectly (except for ff/rew ) my trouble lies with svcd's which i have read that my player excepts but i have had no luck i came across a site that had a firmware upgrade which would make my player play svcd's , xsvcd's etc. but the site had gone   http://members.tripod.com/flash_cd/ also i did not really understand exactly what i was doing . any light you can shed on these problems would be very much appreciated
