Dear Sir,

I have just tried to make oversized SVCD (> 80 min CDR capacity) with
VCDImager.

The procedures are as follow:

1) Capture A/V clips with Dazzle DVC II in SVCD format (video bitrate:
   2400Kbps).
2) Cut it into a 40-45 minutes clip with VITEC VIDEO Clip MPEG-2 PRO.
3) Multiplex the A/V files to MPEG2 SVCD format using TMpegEnc.
4) Generate the cue/bin image file using VCDImager.
5) Burn the image on a 90min CDR using CDRWin 4.0a.

However, all SVCDs produced (I have tried 6.2, 7.0, 7.1 and 7.3) fail in
fast-forwarding on my Philips DVD Player (Model#DVD951). The player just
stops when the operation is tried.

In another test, I have cut the clips into 4 pieces of around 10+
minutes long and burn into 4 tracks on the same CD. Under this setting,
fast-forward is okay with the first 3 tracks but the same problem
happens on the 4th track.

Will the future version of VCDImager support oversized SVCDs?

Thank you very much, especially, for providing this great software.

P.S. 1) The above method successful produces full-compliance non-oversized
SVCDs which can be played on the Philip DVD player smoothly.
     2) Similar problems arise in the oversized SVCDs made with Nero or
        i-author.

Regards,
Lau Siu Chung
