Congrats for your work! The new test-suite will be very helpful for the
refactoring effort required by parallel-wget before we can merge it.
This is what has stopped me in the last months. I think some parts
require a quite heavy refactoring before the parallel-wget branch can be
merged into master.
The threading code and the metalink support can be considered
experimental for a while, but it has to have a minimal impact on the
existing features set (and code quality).
