that won't be enough, I am afraid.  He had bash installed just /bin/sh
was pointing somewhere else.

The shebang could be changed to /bin/bash

However, dash supports $() and should be perfectly ok, indeed, ‘dash bootstrap’ works fine here.


'dash bootstrap'  doesn't work for me at all. I'm getting the same errors as
mentioned earlier:
