[Bug-xnee] Gnee test cases

I've just discovered gnee on Ubuntu and it has tonnes of potential. I'm not in 
a position to develop code, but I'm wondering would there be an interest in 
some testing and bug-reporting?

I'm happy to put in a few hours per week but I'm curious how that would be met 
by the maintainers. Are there many developers on board at the moment?
