OK, the msg has changed:
Error: Could not open the display
Solution: Make sure you have given a correct display name and that you have
permissions to open it
xnee: unable to open display ":0.0"
I don't understand, ~/ICEauthority is the same for root (that run the
cron) and my only user, and I can "su -" without any problem into X :(
