Hi,

> will try cdrtools or cdrkit

Be aware that cdrkit is not ready for BD and hardly for DVD.
But its compilation behavior is interesting nevertheless.
Escpecially in comparison to cdrtools.

For real burning of BD-R try dvd+rw-tools (growisofs et.el.).
If you find instructions for video production on Linux, then they
will most likely mention growisofs.

If compilation succeeds, format BD-R before use (dvd+rw-format)
or use growisofs option -use-the-force-luke=spare:none .
Else you will experience an error message at the end of
BD-R burning.

Wow, what a hardware zoo ...
Scrolling back: "for Synology DS213j armada arm cpu". That would
be "Marvell armada 370 Linux 3.2.30".

Well, if i cannot curb my curiosity then i will set up a virtual
machine and install the tarball to /usr/local.

I wonder why the document says nothing about the requirements
for my own computer and OS which shall do the cross compilation.
The installation description looks as if compiler binaries
are in the tarball.
What if i had FreeBSD as OS or some mini CPU like the ones on
their own list ?

Have a nice day :)

Thomas
