Hi Thomas,

I have applied your patch and successfully created three DVDs from incremental 
BTRFS snapshots with several 1E6 files each.
Apart from passing -check_media like this one

Media checks :        lba ,       size , quality
Media region :         32 ,         32 , + good

Media region :    2179664 ,        336 , 0 untested
MD5 checks   :        lba ,       size , result
MD5 tag range:         32 ,    2179631 , + md5_match

I have also run isovfy and recursive diffs on all of them, without any of the 
previously indicated errors.
The discs can also be read absolutely flawlessly under MacOS 10.9.
From what I can say, your patch nicely cures the problem.
