Need to reset file descriptor when logs rotate

I'm running zebra 0.93b on FreeBSD 4.6.2-RELEASE-p9.

I am writing logs directly to disk:

 log file /var/log/zebra/ospf.log

However, when my log archiver (newsyslog) rotates the log file; the
running process continues to try and write to the original file.  Can
you kind folks add a signal handler so the zebra daemons will reopen
their log file?
