Actually, there's nothing to do with luajit in there, I just forked from that
repo to save resources since it was on github already.  I rolled malkia's
changes back and then merged in your upstream commits to his
original branch point.

The patchsets in my repo are just fiddling with the configury as I am
wont to do :-)

Although the social aspects of github don't work quite as well when the
upstream repo is on another server... I suppose watching the forked repo
might get you notifications of commits - but pull requests still won't work
I think.

For developing Free Software comfortably, you do need to install a bunch
of stuff to get going. But there's no other way to code for Mac OS or iOS
than in Mac OS, and XCode 3 rocks. I only notice the incompatibilities
with the Apple shipped toolset because I'm trying to minimize the amount
of time I have to spend configuring a new machine befor I can use it... if
it's not on the installation media, and it doesn't fit in my DropBox account,
I'm trying not to use it.

I'm a bit worried about the transition to LLVM gcc in XCode 4 breaking
things in my FSF projects though :-(

That's interesting... I actually moved from Debian to Mac OS about 8
years ago because the hardware support was terrible, and after a week
spent just getting my sound/video/cdwriter and wireless working on the
then current beige box, I heard that Mac OS 10 was now a Unix too,
and everything worked on their laptops out of the box - so I switched.

I sometimes run Linux in a vm, but haven't found a minimalist distro
with a good package selection that I really like yet... I'm using tinycore
at the moment.
