Confirmed, after an update I no longer have this bug either.

Most likely I'll submit patches for a testsuite reorganisation before
I commit any new failing tests... either way I'll be more careful about
where I commit new files.  Sorry about that.

Confirmed - this bug is fixed for me too.

The --batch mode discrepancy is weird though.  Worth taking up on the
Emacs list?
