[Chicken-hackers] [PATCH] Drop the "chicken" module

Hi all,

The attached patch finally gets rid of the "chicken" module.
A note of warning: this won't compile with the pre5 snapshot,
you'll first need to build latest master and then use that to
compile this one.

If this patch is accepted, we'll need to make a new prerelease
snapshot to ensure we can keep moving forward.
