#345: foreign-lambda* misfeature
-------------------------------------------------------+--------------------
Reporter: elf | Owner:
Type: enhancement | Status: closed
Priority: minor | Component: compiler
Version: 2.7 | Resolution: wontfix
Keywords: ffi, foreign-lambda, variable substitution |
-------------------------------------------------------+--------------------
Changes (by felix):
* status: new => closed
* resolution: => wontfix
Comment:
the `foreign-...` forms do not evaluate the strings, and adding that
feature wouldn't be overly useful (IMHO). Writing a custom macro (like you
did in the example) is usually sufficient.
