#346: let-values not available for syntax
--------------------------------+-------------------------------------------
Reporter: kon | Owner:
Type: defect | Status: closed
Priority: not urgent at all | Milestone: 4.7.0
Component: expander | Version: 4.5.x
Resolution: wontfix | Keywords:
--------------------------------+-------------------------------------------
Changes (by felix):
* status: new => closed
* resolution: => wontfix
Comment:
That is correct, currently the expansion environment only contains R5RS
bindings (and a small set of forms required for module-handling). I
believe there is no perfect selection of stuff that's considered useful by
everybody alike, so I think it would be best to keep it the way it is and
let the user decide by importing what's necessary (i.e, `(import-for-
syntax chicken)`).
(Sorry for the overly late reply)
