 I wrote some functions that Ugarit needed, that the posix unit lacked.

 source:release/4/ugarit/trunk/posixextras.scm

 They're ruthlessly based on other similar functions in posixunix.scm

 Would they be welcome in posixunix.scm? If so, feel free to have them.
 Should they just be omitted in posixwin.scm, or stubs written, or
 equivalent functionality chosen?
