 The wiki page for the utf8 egg describes the byte-string-length and byte-
 string-set! procedures, but they don't seem to be exported from the
 module. I get "reference to possibly unbound identifier `byte-string-
 length'" after importing utf8 as described in the wiki.

 Editing the module myself and exporting them appears to fix the issue.
