Very nice. BTW, you can now use (current-input-port <port>) instead
of (set! ##sys#standard-input <port>).

Good idea. I'm not sure how this interacts with csi's own prompt
(">>>") and the transcript stuff, but I have to try it out on Linux
first. Stay tuned.
