Hello, everybody!
What's new in the current CVS release:
- several bugfixes
- `->string' (unit extras)
- SRFI-26 is now built-in
- the setup-stuff has been changed considerably
(new macro `chicken-setup' and csi-option `-setup'),
there still a lot has to be done, though
- the lolevel unit provides a new feature ("locatives"),
which allow the creation of safe pointers into
arbitrary Scheme data objects. Locatives are "weak", so
this facility can also be used to build weak pairs/boxes/hash-tables
See the manual for more info.
cheers,
felix
