Hi,
I'm having problems building Chicken (1.12) with MinGW (+msys/msysdtk)
on Windows XP. (I noticed the docs say I need Cygwin, but I figured
I'd try plain MinGW anyway. Don't have cygpath, but other than that
it seemed to work fine.)
Now, when the build gets to the nsample-bit, nsample crashes on some
of the sizes, but it seems to pick one of them and go on.
And then it seems to work fine until it tries to build csi.scm. This
causes .libs/ltchicken.exe to crash. I'm wondering whether I should
mail the crashdump Windows XP generates or whether I should try to get
a gdb backtrace. (I tried this, but it didn't seem to give any useful
information.)
Alternatively, has someone got a recent version compiled with MinGW
and working on Windows XP? (Or compiled with MSVC, I don't know if it
matters.)
(I normally use Linux, so I'm not sure where to start looking,
really. Any hints?)
