Chicken's FFI is probably the most stable part, since so many eggs
already depend on it.
There has been a lot of incompatible changes recently (until 2.2),
but from now on I'd like to have a long period of consolidation, at least
until R6RS comes out (and those changes will be on the surfacem
not the FFI), and even then I don't intend to make changes
that break backwards compatibility, if I can avoid it.
