Well, drat, eggs are in Subversion, and I don't have access rights to that. Nor do I want to deal with Subversion anyways, as compared to Darcs. So, is there a Subversion monkey with access rights around here?

There is nothing wrong w/ the numbers, openssl, etc. eggs as far as I know. The problem is the removal of the Easy FFI from the base Chicken. It nows exists as an egg.

The actual form of the '#>' read syntax is "#>[SPEC ...]", where SPEC can be !, ?, :, (, or NULL. Ex: "#>!" is the short form of 'foreign- parse'.

However, getting the compiler to recognize the read-syntax is an issue. I haven't been able to look into this for almost 2 weeks. Sorry, but I have had a relapse so out of commission for awhile.

Best wishes,
Kon
