Previous versions required an explicit close. (Well, not required but
a nice thing to do.)

Using Version 2, Build 429 - linux-unix-gnu-x86 - [ dload ptables applyhook ]

/usr/local/bin/chicken entropy-primitives.scm -output-file entropy- primitives.c -dynamic -feature chicken-compile-shared -quiet - feature compiling-extension -optimize-level 2 -debug-level 1 - extend easyffi -extend dollar -check-imports -emit-exports entropy- primitives.exports -optimize-level 3 -debug-level 0

gives a segmentation fault.

Please re-setup the following:

(Download new copies even if you have them - for non-semantic changes I don't always bump the version #; bad practice I know. vector-lib & structures will now emit exports. All of mine have a "fixed" setup- header.scm which doesn't always use the easyffi & dollar extensions.)

vector-lib 1.1
misc-extn 2.2
stack 1.4
synch 0.5
structures 1.4
job-worker 0.1
srfi-27 1.0

Let me know more about any segfault, please include the Chicken version.

Of course I don't see any such problem; everything installs fine & completes the tests to satisfaction w/ my Chicken "Version 2.431 - macosx-unix-gnu-ppc - [ libffi dload ptables extraslot applyhook ]". But testing on Linux & Windows is very slooow for me since I must run them in CPU emulators. But if you still have problems I will give it a try.

HTH,
Kon
