You're big on embedding. Does any GUI toolkit not suck at embedding?

Nano-X is pretty good, but very minimalistic. Old Qt versions are currently
the best choice (3.3). I've used SDL, too. There is a FLTK version that can
be run on top of nano-X (using a faked Xlib), but it's pretty much slapped
together. That's mostly all there is. But on these systems you can pick
whatever you prefer and build anyway you like. The situation is different
on desktop machines, where you don't want to hassle the user and support
what he/she has available and/or installed.
