I've run into the problems with MSYS shell running within rxvt
too (although with different software.) It seems to be related
to Windows ``console'' I/O. Could you please try the following?
* run sh.exe from cmd.exe, then try running csi.exe from it;
* rename MSYSDIRECTORY/bin/rxvt.exe to MSYS/bin/rxvt1.exe, then
try running msys.bat and csi.exe in the appearing window.
