I've successfully built and installed chicken 3.2.0 and a couple of
egg on the following platforms:
Linux PPC (gcc 4.1.3)
Linux x86 (gcc 4.1.3)
Linux x86_64 (gcc 4.1.2)
Linux Alpha (gcc 2.95.4)
