Hold your horses, Kon's pointed out there's already some posix
extensions in misc-extns that I could just merge into.


Would it perhaps make sense to put posix stuff from misc-extn
into a posix-extensions egg? It somehow appears to make more
sense to me (at least the name is more obvious). Kon, what's you
opinion?

Yes. The misc-extn egg needs to be "exploded". If you want I can create a "posix-extensions" (posix-extras, posix-extn, ?) with the current misc-extn-posix code & your S_IFMT additions.




lzma

compression library that can beat bzip2 for large blocks.
