Maybe we should resurrect nest-tool
(http://chicken.wiki.br/eggref/3/nest-tool) and meta-setup
(http://chicken.wiki.br/eggref/3/meta-setup) IIRC, they could perform
the tasks you suggest.
I guess we'll need some tweaking on the henrietta side.
