I made some adjustments to JFileChooser which make it use its UI more correctly. 2005-10-12 Roman Kennke <address@hidden> * javax/swing/JFileChooser.java (getDialogTitle): If no dialog title has been set, forward this call to the UI.
Hi Roman,For me, this results in a stack overflow, because the first line in the getDialogTitle() method in BasicFileChooserUI calls back to the getDialogTitle() method in JFileChooser:
public String getDialogTitle(JFileChooser fc) { String ret = fc.getDialogTitle(); Maybe you have a different UI delegate in use?By the way, I am working on a whole bunch of Mauve tests for JFileChooser, BasicFileChooserUI and MetalFileChooserUI in an attempt to make sense of it all, so I can complete the javax.swing.plaf.metal.* package. I'm slowly beginning to understand how it fits together. I will try to commit the tests to CVS soon...
