Yes, we are. Independent of any licensing discussions, we'd like to be 
able to share AWT peers for gtk, Qt, microwindows, GEM, whatever. If the 
interface is clean then having these peers as "external libraries" should 
not be a problem (for us or for FSF or for anyone).
