BSD-licensed library code?? Re: Suns JVM-Code under BSD-license

This seems be too good to be true.  

This link has pointers to source packages you can download.  The click
through license for the download is a BSD-like license (appended
below).  I can't find any other license info related to these
downloads.  The package includes a file, src.jar, which appears to be an
archive of Sun's runtime library code (incl. swing, etc).  I haven't
looked at the source, except for a couple of file headers.  The headers
simply say that the code is licensed to me under the license agreement I
entered into with Sun.  As far as I can tell, I just agreed to the
BSD-like license for this code.

I have not looked at the source other than this.  What am I missing? 
Did Sun just release swing, etc under a BSD license??
