Here are some results from JC, although this is on a much faster machine
(Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz):

  Benchmark : load:1734ms   tests:402ms
  0 of 3578944 tests failed

  real    0m2.760s
  user    0m1.970s
  sys     0m0.780s

JC was configured with "--disable-assertions".
