Huh.  I have tried that in the past and not had good luck with it.  It
seems as if it should work, and it would be nice if it did:

@augart-tp23: ~/JikesRVM/ClasspathCVS/classpath/native/jni/gtk-peer $ cvs diff 
-uN gnu_java_awt_peer_gtk_GThreadNativeMethodRunner.c
cvs server: I know nothing about 
gnu_java_awt_peer_gtk_GThreadNativeMethodRunner.c
@augart-tp23: ~/JikesRVM/ClasspathCVS/classpath/native/jni/gtk-peer $ cvs 
version
Client: Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.11.2 (client/server)

Does this work in your version of CVS?
