Also ls really is only selecting one of 16 colors for the default.
It's not selecting a particular RGB value. That is determined by
the palette of your terminal emulator, so really any default change
for blue should be considered at the terminal emulator palette level.

There has been work in this area already BTW. For example the solarized theme
is available for gnome terminal by default since version 3.12.
