multibyte support (round 4)

Hi,

first of all, thanks for all the notes you made at the websites and the
work you did on the multibyte support for coreutils.

After trying the patch I see a nice progress in the multibyte support.
Obviously there is still much to do.

Is there a way we could split the work so that I could help you?

Thinking of implementing unfinished multibyte cut -d option might be a good
start maybe.
