I don't understand the need of this feature. The protocol
provides no limitation on search query type.

When a client connects and does a search he should be
set to only be able to use that mode during this
connection.
ie:
Client connects and does a passive search.
Client gets a flag that says "Passive"
Client does an active search, client is silently
disconnected with a message about what happend.
And then also the reverse. Client connects, does an
active search, client is put into active status,
client does a passive search, client is disconnected.
This could be done perhaps within scripts, but then it
would be nice to have some sort of client "status"
field.
dchub::setclientstring(username, string);
dchub::getclientstring(username);
This would make it a little bit more easy to store
information about a specific client.
