problem with ddd and shared library

Hi Guys,
While I am running my application which use a shared libraries under gdb 6.0
under emacs, everythings went well
but if I use ddd up front I got the following message:

gdb> Cannot insert breakpoint 1
gdb> Cannot access memory at address 0x400185cb

Basically there is no way I can debug my application using ddd.
Dose anybody know how to resolve this problem ?
