DDD open failed error on .so library (LD_LIBRARY_PATH)

Subject: DDD open failed error on .so library (LD_LIBRARY_PATH)
Date: Wed, 2 Mar 2005 12:26:22 +0100

Hi,

I am trying to use DDD 3.3.10 under Solaris 8 but when Running a program the
following message appears in the debug window

ld.so.1: /myprogram/exe/myprogram.exe: fatal: libdbct.so: open failed: No
such file or directory

Program terminated with signal SIGKILL, Killed.
The program no longer exists.

When debugging directly through gdb without ddd, all is working fine

I checked the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable which contains the
lbdbct.so directory, I tried to set LD_BIND_NOW to 1 as mentioned in another
thread, but nothing works

Is there anyone who can help

Many thanks.

Francois
