The configure of DDD wants /Xm/Xm.h!

DDD requires Motif, so it definitely needs that header to be available.

I have looked in the lesstif-0.95.2 directory.
GOne into it and found the Motif-2.1 directory.
Found the Xm directory, but the the file I seek,
is labled as 'Xm.h.in'!

That means that it's an input file. With lesstif, apparently the final
Xm.h file that will be installed is generated from the Xm.h.in.

You need to have *installed* lesstif or openmotif on your system, not just
have the source code for one of them extracted somewhere.

You don't say what type of system you're trying to build ddd on. Most
Linux distributions have an openmotif-devel or lesstif-devel package that
you could just install that would get you the necessary Motif bits to be
able to compile ddd. If you're on a commercial UNIX derivative, they
just come with plain old Motif, though you again would need to have
installed the necessary development packages on your system.
