(I am sending this again to the mailing list)
In that case you might have a very old version of ddd. First check it and compare with the latest ddd version. In general I try, first, to install the latest version which many has already solved the issue i am having with an old version
nvm i installed it thro the sudo apt-get install ddd XDOn Thu, Aug 25, 2016 at 1:24 AM, William Oquendo <address@hidden> wrote:What is your compiler? In any case run first ./configure just to check its error messages. Also read the config.log file and find the section where it tries to set CXX, maybe you can find clues there.--On Wed, Aug 24, 2016 at 12:20 PM, adhamyo daoud <address@hidden> wrote:hello!, i can't install ddd i unpack the tar.gz then do the ./configure && make, but it finds problems with the make, it says configure:error: You must set the environment variable CXX to a workingC++ compiler. Also check the CXXFLAGS settings.See the file 'config.log' for further diagnostics.
