DDD bug

I get this whenever I try and launch ddd on a MAC  with OS X 10.11.6.  libXt.7 was installed from XQuartz 2.7.9 and ddd installed from homebrew and is up to date.  The program was compiled with

cc -std=c89 -Wall -DDEBUG -ggdb prog.c -o prog  (from default make rules, no makefile)
