DDD 3.3.12 (i386-apple-darwin16.3.0) gets Xt error

Host: MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 (16G29)

X11: XQuartz 2.7.11 (xorg-server 1.18.4)

gdb: installed via homebrew
% gdb --version

GNU gdb (GDB) 7.12.1ddd .log file attached
...

% echo $SHELL
/bin/zsh
% /bin/zsh --version
zsh 5.2 (x86_64-apple-darwin16.0)

Not sure what other info you might need.  Let me know and I will do my best to provide it.
