Details:

The new libsmf includes a user_data pointer for tying the events back to the
DenemoObjects, and also (?) our fix for Windows binary file read/write.
As we may want to start using this feature, it might be good to get this
version into Denemo now, early in the release cycle, so that we iron out any
bugs early on.
