On the recent changes page one of the first lines is:

Show last 50 | 100 | 250 | 500 changes in last 1 | 3 | 7 | 14 | 30 days

Or go to you account options and change the standard value there. And if you 
have not done in I suggest you activate "Extended Something", too. In fact its 
not extended but much simpler and easier to view :)
