It seems both master and 0.8.10 are not able to compile here.
Both times its fluidsynths fault.
gub complains about "No package 'fluidsynth' found" which is no wonder
because gub does not know fluidsynth yet. What is strange is that 0.8.10
wants fluid at all.
How can I disable that.
For my personal Denemo version, which uses systemlibs, I just get
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I.. -I../intl -I../intl -I../include
-I../libsmf -I../pixmaps -DLOCALEDIR=\"/usr/share/locale\"
-DSYSCONFDIR=\"/etc/denemo/\" -DPKGDATADIR=\"/usr/share/denemo/\"
-DDATAROOTDIR=\"/usr/share/\" -DPKGNAME=\"denemo\" -march=i686
-mtune=generic -O2 -pipe -I/usr/include/gtk-2.0
-I/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/include -I/usr/include/atk-1.0 -I/usr/include/cairo
-I/usr/include/pango-1.0 -I/usr/include/glib-2.0
-I/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/include/pixman-1
-I/usr/include/freetype2 -I/usr/include/libpng12 -pthread
-I/usr/include/aubio -I/usr/include/libxml2
-I/usr/include/gtksourceview-2.0 -I/usr/include/libxml2
-I/usr/include/gtk-2.0 -I/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/include -I/usr/include/atk-1.0
-I/usr/include/cairo -I/usr/include/pango-1.0 -I/usr/include/glib-2.0
-I/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/include/pixman-1
-I/usr/include/freetype2 -I/usr/include/libpng12 -D_HAVE_JACK_
-MT jackmidi.o -MD -MP -MF .deps/jackmidi.Tpo -c -o jackmidi.o
jackmidi.c
mv -f .deps/jackmidi.Tpo .deps/jackmidi.Po
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `fluid.o', needed by `denemo'.
Stop.
of course I have fluidsynth installed.
