Follow-up Comment #4:

Linux is the primary target for releases, windows binary installers are an
extra created on Linux as a means of getting Denemo tested. 
The instructions for building for linux from the sources are on denemo.org,
and if you ask on the mailing list people who provide packages for the various
linux distos will be sure to help (I don't know much about that topic I am
afraid).
0.8.10 is ancient, so yes, it will have many bugs unfortunately - newer
versions are already in Debian, Ubuntu, etc.
