Follow-up Comment #3, bug #31510 (project denemo):
This is all GTK stuff. It is known that this could be better, but it requires
more work than one would think.
You did not encounter the biggest bug yet. If you give an option list and the
user presses cancel or escape the dialog will still return the selected
option.
