The name guides you where to look for the documentation/code:
d-XxxxYyyy is a primitive defined in C, and there is a documentation system
for these.
XxxxYyyy is a scheme script in actions/denemo.scm and files loaded from
there. There should be a documentation regime for these (I think scheme has
some support for a comment at the start of the procedure as doc) but I am
leaving that to non-C developers. After all, you can always read the scheme,
whereas C is notoriously a wo language.
There is a bug in here about documentation, but I had better close this as
the headline is misleading (due to lack of documentation :)
