I looked at this and New Tab (for example) does appear in denemo.pot and
is translated by you. I think I may have missed a step (the make dist
command), I have issued this command and then committed the altered .po
files. Perhaps if you build from the latest git it will now appear
(along with many, many others).
I have added some translatablility to the Command Manager, which was
missing I noticed, but I will wait until other things are found before
re-submitting a new denemo.pot to translationproject.org.
